Cruze Kapa is a Māori turi (deaf) with a deep passion for leadership and motivating people to grow and be self-reliant.

Cruze Fashion is known for its high-quality womenswear, menswear, and accessories. Our designs are minimal and one-sized, embodying simplicity, chicness, and elegance. The colour palette reflects the natural landscape of Aotearoa, with signature garments inspired by Māori culture.

Founded in 2017, Cruze Fashion made its debut in Auckland with a successful fashion show and has since been featured in pop-up shops. However, the brand went on hiatus as Cruze faced challenges with his mental health and followed his physician's advice to prioritize his well-being. "He was right because I had forgotten about myself and felt lost. My world was upside down, and I didn't know where I wanted to go. I was surrounded by the wrong people," Cruze reflects. Along with the pandemic and other factors, Cruze Fashion went on pause.

As a profoundly deaf Māori, Cruze is dedicated to fostering equality in the workplace and society by creating economic opportunities for the Deaf community within the fashion industry. Fueled by this commitment and the support of his friends and whānau, Cruze Fashion is ready to relaunch.
